Christmas Brushing Charts – Free Download

Over the Christmas break, routines take a backseat to snacks and special treats. In all the mayhem, it’s important not to forget the kids’ oral health!

We recommend that your children’s teeth are brushed twice a day for optimal oral health. While settling into a routine like this can be difficult, it’s important you persevere, especially with all the sweet treats on offer over the Christmas period.

To help, we’ve designed these FREE downloadable Christmas brushing charts to be used at home. There are three to select from, each designed for different age groups and levels of routine. Check them out below!’

Reward Good Habits

Brushing charts are a great tool to help make brushing teeth fun for kids. It can be a welcome incentive to help reluctant kids see brushing twice a day as less of a chore.

Make sure you praise your child as they brush their teeth and colour in the spaces on the chart. The routines are more likely to stick if the process is fun and rewarding.

It’s not a bad idea to offer a small prize on completing their chart. This needn’t be an extravagant present. It might be their favourite meal for dinner, a picnic at the park, or a small toy (try something collectable, like Lego, which they can build upon as they keep up their brushing).

Free Children’s Dental

The government’s Child Dental Benefits Schedule allows eligible families access to free children’s dental up to $1000 per child every two calendar years. At Walloon Dental, all children under the schedule have their dental treatment bulk billed.
